Bogotá, diciembre 2 de 2021. La Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (SIC), en su objetivo de promover la innovación e incentivar a los inventores colombianos para que hagan uso del Sistema de Propiedad Industrial, realizó la entrega de varios reconocimientos en el marco de la XI versión del Premio Nacional al Inventor Colombiano 2021.

Bogotá D.C., 28 de noviembre de 2021. La Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio, en su rol de autoridad única de competencia, formuló pliego de cargos contra la DIMAYOR (División Mayor del Fútbol Profesional Colombiano) y 16 clubes de fútbol profesional colombiano, con el fin de establecer si estos agentes habrían limitado la libre competencia en el mercado de los derechos deportivos de los jugadores de fútbol colombiano, al impedir la transacción de al menos 16 jugadores entre el año 2018 y lo corrido del 2021. 

The Superintendence of Industry and Commerce, in its role as the National Authority   for Competition Protection, opened an investigation against the companies: SOCIEDAD DE AGRICULTORES Y GANADEROS DE BOLIVAR Y CESAR and SERVICIO FLUVIAL DE BOLIVAR Y CESAR, and seven individuals, for allegedly having entered into and executed a price fixing agreement to equalize the rates in the provision of the river transportation service, in the vehicle transshipment modality, between the municipalities of Gamarra, Bolívar and Morales, Cesar.

The Superintendence of Industry and Commerce, in its role as the National Authority   for Competition Protection, opened an investigation against the company YUMBO LIMPIO and YUMBO CITY HALL, for having agreed on a series of practices aimed at preventing the entry of new competitors and limiting competition on equal terms with other providers interested in cleaning services contracts in the municipality of Yumbo, thereby restricting the free choice of Yumbo’s citizens.

The Superintendence of Industry and Commerce, in its role as the National Authority   for Industrial Property, published the list of nominees for the '2021 Colombian National Inventor Award' which, during this edition, received more than 130 project applications in the different categories of the contest, evidencing the level of inventiveness of Colombians throughout the national territory.
