Bogotá D.C., 16 de septiembre de 2025. La Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (SIC), como autoridad nacional de Metrología Legal, expidió la Resolución 69940 de 2025, que establece los requisitos técnicos, metrológicos y administrativos que deberán cumplir los medidores de agua potable fría y caliente de uso residencial, además de las obligaciones de productores e importadores de estos instrumentos de medición. También se establece el procedimiento de evaluación de la conformidad previa a su ingreso al mercado.

This event, a benchmark for discussions on personal data protection issues in Colombia, was marked by the announcement by the Superintendent of Industry and Commerce, Dr. Cielo Rusinque, regarding the national government’s intention to introduce a bill aimed at modernizing the legal framework for personal data protection.

El On Friday, July 4, 2025, the Consumer Protection Office was inaugurated in the city of Santa Marta, with the participation of the Superintendent of Industry and Commerce, Cielo Rusinque. This new space will provide guidance, training, and public outreach on consumer protection issues for both residents and tourists who use various public services. Topics to be addressed include warranties, abusive contract clauses, right of withdrawal, price disclosure in commercial establishments, and legal metrology, among others.
