After an application filed by the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce, in its role as National Authority for Industrial Property, the National Service of Intellectual Rights of Ecuador (SENADI) granted the protection of the following Colombian Trademarks: “COLOMBIA CO”, “COLOMBIA EL PÁIS MÁS ACOGEDOR DEL MUNDO”, “LA RESPUESTA ES COLOMBIA” y “COLOMBIA ES PASIÓN”.
The Superintendence of Industry and Commerce, in its role as National Authority for Consumer Protection, initiated an administrative investigation against eight businesses in the city of Cali, due to an alleged illegal sale of balloons inflated with other gases other than helium, the only gas authorized by law for this purpose.
The SIC initiated the investigation due to the requirements of Article 6 of the Consumer Protection Law, which obliges producers and suppliers to guarantee the safety of the products that they make available to consumers.
Las Mypes que se inscriban al curso y que asistan al 100% de las clases de cada ciclo, recibirán un certificado de asistencia que les otorgará el 25% de descuento en las solicitudes de protección vía Propiedad Industrial.

El próximo 6 de octubre, de 5:00 pm a 7:00 pm, la Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (SIC) presentará virtualmente su nueva herramienta tecnológica que permite a los ciudadanos consultar las decisiones jurisdiccionales proferidas por la Entidad.
Al frente de este gran proyecto se encuentra la Delegatura para Asuntos Jurisdiccionales que busca que las personas interesadas tengan conocimiento de éste instrumento y lo puedan utilizar cuando quieran analizar las decisiones jurisdiccionales proferidas por la SIC.

La autoridad realizó operativos de verificación de reglamentos técnicos y metrología legal a estaciones de servicio y establecimientos de comercio.

La SIC también visitó constructoras, sociedades de servicios de financiación, agencias de turismo, grandes almacenes y operadores de telecomunicaciones.
