Colombia and the Declaration Against Digital Violence Towards Women And Girls

Colombia, President pro tempore of the Ibero-American Data Protection Network (RIPD) signed the Declaration against Digital Violence towards woman and girls.

This March, the Webinar on "Strategies of the Data Protection Authorities to fight against digital violence in Ibero-America with a gender approach" was held online, through the Zoom platform, from the Spanish Cooperation Center in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia.

In this event, the Ibero-American Data Protection Network dealt with topics such as: digital education, institutional strategies, civil society initiatives, and culture of prevention to combat digital violence. The Declaration against Digital Violence against women and girls states the position of the RIPD and its Authorities in relation this scourge and its contribution to effectively fight against it in Ibero-America was established.

Colombia as President pro tempore of the Network approved and signed the declaration
