The Superintendence of Industry and Commerce, in its role as the National Authority   for Competition Protection, opened an investigation against the companies: SOCIEDAD DE AGRICULTORES Y GANADEROS DE BOLIVAR Y CESAR and SERVICIO FLUVIAL DE BOLIVAR Y CESAR, and seven individuals, for allegedly having entered into and executed a price fixing agreement to equalize the rates in the provision of the river transportation service, in the vehicle transshipment modality, between the municipalities of Gamarra, Bolívar and Morales, Cesar.

The Superintendence of Industry and Commerce, in its role as the National Authority   for Competition Protection, opened an investigation against the company YUMBO LIMPIO and YUMBO CITY HALL, for having agreed on a series of practices aimed at preventing the entry of new competitors and limiting competition on equal terms with other providers interested in cleaning services contracts in the municipality of Yumbo, thereby restricting the free choice of Yumbo’s citizens.

The Superintendence of Industry and Commerce, in its role as the National Authority   for Industrial Property, published the list of nominees for the '2021 Colombian National Inventor Award' which, during this edition, received more than 130 project applications in the different categories of the contest, evidencing the level of inventiveness of Colombians throughout the national territory.

La Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio, en su rol como autoridad nacional para la protección al consumidor, puso a disposición de la ciudadanía un nuevo punto de atención en la localidad de Barrios Unidos, en la ciudad de Bogotá. Se trata de la Casa del Consumidor de Bienes y Servicios, programa en el que los usuarios podrán acceder de manera presencial a orientación gratuita por inconvenientes que presenten con sus compras de bienes y servicios.
