The Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC), in its role as National Authority for Competition Protection, sanctioned ALIANZA MAYORISTA (ALIMA), DISPRESCO and INTERNACIONAL DE ABASTOS Y LICORES (INTERLICORES), after it was demonstrated that this companies implemented a system that restricted free economic competition in the market for the distribution of liquors produced by the FABRICA DE LICORES DE ANTIOQUIA (FLA), in the department of Antioquia, between 2010 and 2022.

The Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC), in its role as National Authority for Competition Protection, imposed fines up to COP $28,434,103,236 on nine (9) companies and sixteen (16) individuals for infringements to the free competition regime and cartelization in the School Snacks Program (PREB, for its acronym in Spanish) of the School Food Program (PAE, for its acronym in Spanish) of Bogotá.

This conduct was carried out between 2007 and 2017.

The Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC), as National Authority for Consumer Protection, ordered 27 restaurants in the city of Bogotá to comply with the regulations related to the display of prices information to consumers, in accordance with the legal provisions of Law 1480 of 2011.  

The order was issued after the SIC carried out thirty (30) administrative inspection and surveillance visits in food and/or beverage sales establishments located in different gastronomic areas of Bogotá.

The Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC), in its role as National Authority for Competition Protection, opened an investigation against SOCIEDAD PORTUARIA REGIONAL DE BUENAVENTURA (SPRBUN) to determine if the company implemented an anti-competitive system aimed at preventing and hindering the provision of port operation services carried out by the different agents in the Port of Buenaventura.
