On October 15 and 16 the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce held the virtual congress on Industrial Property in Artificial Intelligence and Electronic Commerce. During the event, issues related to patents in artificial intelligence were discussed, as well as the latest advances made by the Patents Committee in this field. In addition, the use of trademarks in e-commerce and the challenges posed by denomination of origin in the use of electronic markets were discussed.

Panelists from international organizations such as the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the Spanish Patent Office (SPTO), the National Institute of Industrial Property of Chile, the National Registry of Costa Rica, the Technological University of Peru, as well as national panelists from Colombia's Artesanías, Mercado Libre, among others, participated
